How we did it

We decided to build our widest LED wall to date. 25 meters of the newest Absen display technology. 300 panels of M2.9 LED. With a superb image clarity and an innovative hinge mechanism. Allowing us to create sections of convex and concave curves. Certainly causing a shock and awe response from first witness. The combined resolution came in at over 8k. Such a sizable canvas meant we’d need an equally equipped video system to cover the screen fully. We designed a Watchout media server system able to handle the custom content we created. From there we had a sub mix of 4 cameras fed into a Barco Event Master E2. Enabling us to change the states of the video output throughout the awards. The show rehearsals and pre-show planning meant that we could rely on a production synced with time code. At the press of a button the award graphics progressed on screen whilst simultaneously triggering lighting states and audio cues. The entire venue was transformed. The combination lighting, sound and vision really showed just how impactful a well tailored event can be.
